Oolong Tea

Oolong tea is semi-oxidised and rests somewhere between unoxidised green tea and fully oxidised black tea. Low in caffeine, yet more stimulating than green or white tea, oolongs are the world’s most diverse and complex tasting teas. The leaves can also be re-infused as many as seven times after you have finished enjoying the first cup with minimal reduction in  the strength of the flavour.

This tea has an aroma of blossoming lilies. Its flavour is equally alluring. Hailing from the sub-tropical climes of Fujian, it is incredibly complex, combining the full-bodied flavour typical of oolongs with the wild mountain grass freshness found in young green teas.

Phoenix Honey Orchid 50g
A seductive shade of orange blossom, this gorgeous dark-roasted oolong from the Phoenix Mountain in China’s Guangdong Province tastes like the nectar of ripe, summer peaches. Its fruity, honeyed flavour, produced from elegantly long, twisted leaves, seems to come out even more when you pair it with savoury dishes like fried dim sum or fish with chilli and herbs.
