Utilising Ancient Case Records to Inform Our Clinical Practice

Case records have been part of Chinese medicine’s history for 2300 years, and effectively constitute a bridge between textbook knowledge and clinical reality. Their study is essential to become a highly skilled doctor who is able to prescribe individualised formulas for patients. This article presents a cursory overview of the topic, illustrated by six case records from Ye Tian-Shi with commentary by Qin Bo-Wei.
