White tea is light and delicate with a sweet aftertaste. It is so called because of its characteristic tiny silver white hairs. It is produced from young leaves and tea buds that, once picked, are left to dry slowly in the sun. Due to its soft and sweet liquor and high antioxidant content, white tea is fast becoming a Western favourite.
