Other information
For the second year running, following the fantastic feedback from last year’s students, Gil Ton and Shaun Goodman are returning to ICOM to teach the foundations of Master Tung’s Acupuncture. This style of acupuncture is really gaining in popularity. It’s renowned for having excellent clinical outcomes and for giving results within just a couple of minutes. Patients need fewer treatments and practitioners often use very few needles.
The skills you will learn on this foundation course are sure to really enhance your Acupuncture practice. Here’s what a previous participant said: “The practical tutoring by Shaun and Gil was exceptional. My needling skills and confidence have improved a lot and will continue to do so thanks to their kind, supportive and non-judgmental supervision.”
Both teachers trained for several years in Taiwan, learning from the original lineage. There’s often a misconception that relegates Master Tung into a series of ‘special points’ which people can add into their treatments. What Gil and Shaun will teach you is the entire Master Tung system which will enable you to diagnose, understand and treat people using a style of acupuncture that produces remarkable results.
That’s why the course consists of 38 hours, over a series of weeks, to enable you to learn in great depth how to use this complete system in its entirety. It is said that Master Tung treated over 400,000 patients as he established this style so this system is not something you can learn quickly on a one- or two-day course.
