In this four-part course, Bob Flaws explores the diagnoses and Chinese medicine treatments for a variety of common Western medical conditions. In Part One, Bob will teach you how to treat acute asthma attacks as well as how to prevent repeat attachs using treatment during the remission stage. Using the techniques taught in this class, you will gain new levels of assurance and success with this commonly seen condition. With the aging of the Baby Boomers, high cholesterol is also an increasingly common problem in clinical practice. Unfortunately, the books don't tell the real story on this condition. In Part Two, learn the keys to treating this disorder successfully with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Part Three details the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension from both a Western and Chinese medicine perspective. In Part Four, Bob illuminates the Chinese disease mechanisms that cause osteoporosis and how these disease mechanisms evolve over time as the result of the aging process. Bob details four main treatment principles for preventing and treating osteoporosis. He discusses how these principles are applied in real life using Chinese herbal medicinals and explains the role of diet, exercise, and psychology in the prevention and treatment of the disease.
